Governance and administration

Okanagan College is governed, like all other colleges in the province, by the College and Institute Act of British Columbia. The act sets up dual responsibility for the College through its Board of Governors and its Education Council.

Plans, policies and reports

Board of Governors

The Board of Governors has the sole responsibility for the management, administration and control of the property, revenue, expenditures, business and affairs of the institution.

Education Council

Education Council is responsible for curriculum content, academic standards and policies.

Senior Administration

Senior administration is responsible for directing Okanagan College’s operations, under the guidance of the Board of Governors.
